The SPI Team has undergone a few changes recently with Sean Stokes now heading up the Team as CEO. Lorraine Morgan has also joined the team as Membership Development Officer and Emer Mullarkey has joined as Events Officer. Niamh Sheridan is now working in the area of Policy Officer and Web Development.
As part of the newly developed SPI Vision, the focus of our work will be at Government level, lobbying for changes in legislation to improve the environment for independent producers in Ireland. We are also committing to more regular contact with the membership and encouraging members to become more active in SPI working groups.
We will have a new slate of events for members in 2008 and details will be sent to members in the New Year.
