Company Description:

The atlantic film alliance is an independent film company based in Dublin and London,
which produces innovative and accessible documentary and corporate films.

The company is led by Ciarín Scott, a multi-award-winning writer, director and producer,
whose career has encompassed arts and entertainment documentaries, commercials and
features.

We aim to produce films that enlighten and entertain, bringing viewers a unique perspective
on the subject, be it a person, place or idea. We value clear and elegant visual storytelling
over excessive text, we seek out unsung heroes rather than jumping on celebrity
band-waggons, we put people before technology, and we empower the viewer to form his
or her own opinion.

Experience:
Ciarín Scott is a director, writer and producer whose work has included internationally acclaimed documentaries, promotional videos and over 50 award-winning commercials. Her most recent projects include Parknasilla (2007), a promotional film showcasing the luxury hotel and country club, Dublin Day (2007), official selection for the IFI Stranger Than Fiction Documentary Festival and Michael Scott- A Changing Man (2006), for RTE, nominated in the Arts Documentary catagory at the 2007 Celtic Media Festival, and winner of the award for best editing at the Milano Doc Fest 2007. George Morrison- Pioneer of Irish Cinema, is due to be released in summer 2008.

The program follows actors in an army bootcamp preparing for their roles in a new drama series for Shed Productions “Bombshell”

1993- 2003 Sabbatical during which Scott also wrote and developed screenplays. 

1980-1992 more than 50 award-winning commercials for Irish TV, clients included Unilever, Guinness and ICI.

1979 ‘ROSC – a poetry of vision’ – directed & produced by Ciarín Scott. 28min. 35mm&16mm original and other footage.
