Experience:
EPOS Films is a Dublin based production company established with the objectives of producing its own slate of film and seeking co-production opportunities with other international production companies. EPOS has also developed a strategic relationship with Ardmore Sound/Plus, Ireland premier post sound facility.
After completing his BSc at Trinity College, Paul’s career has spanned some five years in theatre and over twenty years in the film industry as a co-producer and production accountant for more than 30 productions. He has work with directors including Jim Sheridan, Neil Jordan, Ron Howard, Anjelica Huston, Peter Howitt and Paul Greengrass, and with companies including as Hell’s Kitchen, Deep River, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Fox Searchlight, New Line Films, BBC and Granada TV.
Paul has worked extensively in the US where The Honeymooners, Laws of Attraction, In America and Gold In The Streets were part-produced. Other productions include Bloody Sunday, On The Edge, Borstal Boy, Agnes Brown, The Boxer, Michael Collins, In The Name of the Father, Far and Away, December Bride, The Miracle and many more.
Gaby Smyth is the principal of a chartered accountancy firm which has specialised in film, music, and theatre for many years. His clients include musicians U2, Paddy Casey, Maurice Seezer & Gavin Friday, and actors Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy, Brendan Gleeson and Ruth Negga. He has also worked closely with Jim Sheridan’s company, Hell’s Kitchen, along with The Ark, Project Arts Centre, Pavilion Theatre, Draoicht, Music Network, Improvised Music Company and many other arts organizations.
Through Ardmore Sound, Paul Moore has developed significant relationships in post with all major Studios in the US, including Dreamworks, Skywalker Sound and Warner Bros. Since 1995 a number of significant talents have worked at Ardmore Sound including many Oscar Winners. Providing post services has given him the opportunity to develop relationships with directing talents including Neil Jordan, John Boorman, Terry George, Damien O’Donnell, Gary Rydstrom and Picture Editors Tony Lawson, Thelma Schoonmaker and Jim Clarke.
