Happy Endings was formed by Dara O Briain and Seamus Cassidy, and specializes in comedy, entertainment and factual entertainment programming. In the last two years, the company has made three series of "The Panel" for RTE2, featuring the cream of Irish comedy talent - Dara O Briain, Colin Murphy, Ed Byrne, Neil Delamere and Andrew Maxwell, among others; "Buried Alive" for RTE1, in which we put together celebrities’ obituaries and then invited them on to correct them; and "This is Ireland", a one off comedy special for BBC2.

The company is:
Seamus Cassidy, who spent more than ten years as Senior Commissioning Editor for Comedy and Entertainment at Channel 4 in the UK, then several years at top independent Planet 24, before moving to Ireland to set up Happy Endings.

Dara O Briain, who is one of the hottest comic talents top come out of Ireland in years. As well as presenting "The Panel" and "Buried Alive" in Ireland, Dara has guest hosted "Have I Got News For You", and made recent high profile UK appearances on "Parkinson", "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" and "The Royal Variety Performance".

The Panel returns in the autumn, and in the meantime Happy Endings are developing a number of projects, including a sitcom for Channel 5 in the UK, written by Arthur Mathews and Paul Woodfull.
