Company Description:

New Decade has been in operation since 1990. The company is dedicated to producing high quality factual and entertainment programming for television and developing its slate of film projects.

The second series of the successful 7 part series 'THE INVESTIGATORS'  broadcast late 2007 is currently being researched and we hope to go into production May/June 2008.

We are currently developing script ideas for a 26 x 5min animation series based on a short series we produced for RTE entitled 'SCHRODINGER'S CAT'.

A four part popular science series is also at proposal stage with RTE

‘A SHOULDER TO DIE ON’ a feature length script has been commissioned by the Irish Film Board and is currently being written.  (Script - Nuala Cunningham)

TOIBIN - A one-hour documentary on Niall Toibin currently in production for TG4. Shooting in New York, Dublin & Cork it is scheduled to air on TG4 in Autumn 2008. (Producer - Nuala Cunningham – Director Sean O’Cualain).

OBSERVATIONAL DOCUMENTARY SERIES -  scheduled to air on RTE1 in Autumn 2008. (Producer - Nuala Cunningham – Director - Donnacha O'Briain). Currently shooting.

April 08 -  Film

‘CAPITAL LETTERS’ (2005), which was nominated for 3 IFTA awards and completion finance from the Irish Film Board will ensure that it receives a nationwide release in Early Summer 2008.  (Written & Directed by Ciaran O’Connor)
