Paradise Pictures, TV, video and multimedia production company was established in 1999 by Colin Cowman. Paradise Pictures, produce a range of programmes for television within the genre of factual documentary, entertainment and music. With a great diversity of skills, the cretaive scope of our productions has resulted in a large client base. From large event shows (O2 in the Park), to exciting reality shows (Chance to Dance), heartfelt documentaries (The Homeless World Cup, Tesco Young Cook) social observational docs such as Diary of a Debutante and our established series on Festival of World Cultures. Our entertainment programming such as 'On the Ballykissangel trail' and entertainment news reports have sold to over 50 stations worldwide including PBS and ABC Austrailia.

The Festival of World Cultures
This is an exciting four-part television series on Irelands largest World Muisc and Arts Festival, The Festival of World Cultures. The series is a melting pot of musical performances, interviews and colourful features plucked from around Ireland, presented over the years by Laura Woods, Danann Breathnach, Karim White and Arveene.
Tesco Young Cook 2006
Tesco Young Cook, the documentary follows six gifted kids as they undergo the nerve wracking and sometimes explosive journey to becoming the Tesco Young Cook 2006. Who will emerge victorious, and whose dreams will literally go up in smoke on the big day? Tesco Young Cook aired on RTE1 in 2006.
Chance to Dance 2005
An energetice 7-part reality series, RTE 1 8:30 pm, in search of Irelands top dancers. These colourful characters were hot housed in a pent house appartment, before being launched on an exhausting journey of challenges and public performances. The winner gets a scholarship and an all expenses paid year in London to study in the countries top dance college. Oh and then there is the small matter of an agency deal and a chance to dance for international pop icon Kylie Minogue. Presented by Caroline Morahan.
'O2 in The Park' 2004 & 2005
Paradise Pictures produced RTE's Special of 'O2 in The Park' Ireland's largest pop event attracting 180,000 visitors to the Phoenix Park. Hosted over the years by Kerry Katona, Keith Duffy, Brian Dowling and Caroline Morahan with performances and interviews from tops pop talents Westlife, Brian McFadden, Blue, Charlotte Church and Girls Aloud to name a few.
The Homeless World Cup
The Homeless World Cup documentary chronicles the Irish team's experience as they compete in the Homeless World Cup in Gotherburg, Sweden. This inspirational fly on the wall documentary captures the anxiety and the excitement of the Irish squad as they set off on this life-changing journey and view the emotional highs and lows the team experince competeting in the tournament and eventually winning their division. The documentay was broadcast as part of the Townlands documentary strand on October 9th on RTE 2, narrated by Craig Doyle.
