Company Description:
Scannain Lugh was formed in 2003.
Created by french film-maker Loic Jourdain and Producer Anne Marie Nic Ruaidhri, this independant Irish Film and Television company offers a full production service from programme concept to delivery.
Loic Jourdain has directed 33 documentaries and shorts for French, Irish National and International broadcasters. (La cinquieme, France 3, Arte, TV Breiz, Canal +, History Channel, TG4, ..)
Loic Jourdain is graduate in making technics for The Concervatoire Libre du Cinema Francais (Paris).
Scannain Lugh is particularly interested in developing transnational co-productions,especially between Celtic countries.
Facilities / Service
Based on Tory Island our equipment and facilities are available on the Island or on the mainland for hire.
The company has its own dv camera, sound equipment, lights and on-line Avid Media Composer machine (Adrenaline HD, XPress Pro).
