Company Description:
Stirling Film and TV Productions is a production and facilities company incorporated in 1994. The business originally operated the international contract for the Gaelic Athletic Association and the daily features output for UTV’s evening news programme for 3 years. Magazine and entertainment programming for UTV and BBC NI followed with a progression into documentary making and drama development for local and network broadcasters.
SFTP now has a full time staff of 13 including 4 producers with network experience, three VT editors, camera and sound personnel and research and development staff. We also mentor and provide production support to two Irish language APs working on TG4 commissions in a joint venture with Tell-a-Fish in Newry.
The Company has three online Avid suites, a studio and a full range of sound, lighting and camera facilities in-house.
