Who’s That Standing Beside (2000) Genre: Documentary
Four gifted teenage Irish soccer players were signed to Arsenal Football Club in the 1970's. Their names? Liam Brady, David O' Leary, Frank Stapleton and John Murphy. In 1975 an Irish photographer snapped these aspiring soccer professionals. Three of these men went on to reach the dizzy heights of their boyhood dreams. The fourth, John Murphy, returned to Wicklow homesick after 6 months, never to play professional or club soccer again.
