Screen Greening Best Practice in Ireland and the UK Webinar

SPI is delighted to invite you to a webinar, in collaboration with our Screen Greening Coalition partners (BAI, RTÉ, TG4, Screen Ireland, Virgin Media Television) on Screen Greening Best Practice in Ireland and the UK. The webinar will focus on best practice in both factual and live action genres.
The speakers will offer examples of how to introduce screen greening practices on productions and encourage all cast and crew to get involved. They will also speak about their experiences of gaining albert sustainable certification which will be available for Irish productions from 2021 onwards.

  • Susanne Hamilton - NakedTV - Director of Production ( The Apprentice, Grand Designs and Great British Railway Journeys)

We are also delighted that Roser Canela-Mas - BAFTA albert Industry Sustainability Manager - will be joining the webinar to present the new carbon calculator tool that Irish producers will use from 2021 as well as the newly available Carbon Action Plans. The Carbon Action Plans will enable Irish productions to reduce their carbon footprints, working closely with albert, and receive certification for thier efforts.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentations.
