An Pointe Productions

An Pointe Productions is an independent company based in Connemara, Galway. The company was set up to produce Irish film and television and to develop and promote indigenous storytelling, production and talent. The company directors are Anne Gately and Paul Mercier

An Pointe Productions has produced and released two feature films: PURSUIT (BAI, Screen Ireland, TV3) and WE OURSELVES (BAI, TV3). The company is currently preparing to make a new feature film PROSPECT HOUSE by Paul Mercier with funding from the BAI and Section 481.

Anne Gately is the producer of the company's work. She has also produced and directed two documentaries: RECORDING MARJORIE and STOCKING THE SHELVES and is currently in development with THE ISLAND OF HORSES an adaptation of Eilis Dillon s novel, and a documentary THE MAYFLY with Screen Ireland. She was general manager of the Passion Machine Theatre Company and also designed most of the company's work.
