Wonky Chair Media
Wonky Chair Media is a production company specialising in comedy and comedy-entertainment. Its most recent production was Socially Distant, a half-hour scripted comedy, self-shot by actors during lockdown, broadcast on RTE 1.
It is run by James Cotter, an award-winning writer, director and producer, primarily in all manner of comedy in Ireland and the UK.
He created, was head writer, and ran, for 8 seasons, the blockbuster comedy series Republic of Telly for RTE, discovering and developing a new generation of Irish talent on screen), racking up 100 million+ youtube hits back when that was a thing, and picking up an IFTA for Best TV Moment.
His collaboration with Blindboy and The Rubberbandits has continued for nearly a decade, including producing and directing the acclaimed Rubberbandits Guides for RTE, and Blindboy Undestroys The World for the BBC.
