Company Overview
Screen Producers Ireland is the voice of independent producers in Ireland.
We represent over 140 Irish independent production companies who produce content for Irish broadcasters, funders and international audiences.
SPI’s aim is to ensure a working landscape that allows our industry to thrive. We use our expertise and resources to forge a strong and sustainable position for creative entrepreneurs working in independent film, television, animation and digital production.
It is our responsibility to be an effective voice for the sector, to anticipate and address the needs of our members, to offer a platform to promote their work and to shape an independent production industry in line with the best international standards.
To deliver on this purpose, our work takes many forms. We advise, encourage and lobby state organisations to maximise plans and policies for the benefit of our sector. Our team also communicates and negotiates with industry stakeholders to secure fair regulation on all broadcasting platforms.
SPI is based at 77 Merrion Square, Dublin 2 but currently all our staff are working remotely.
