Charmer Pictures is a Dublin-based, female-led production company headed up by filmmaker Jo Halpin, whose career spans over eight years in the Irish and international screen industries. A hands-on, creative producer, Jo’s credits include The Banshees of Inisherin, Foundation, Kung Fu Deadly, Gran Turismo, and Disenchanted, alongside her award-winning comedy-dramas Magic and Porter. A graduate of TU Dublin’s Advanced Producing programme and mentee of BAFTA-winning producer Brian J. Falconer (Derry Girls, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast) - Jo and Charmer Pictures bring sharp, distinctive stories to the screen by blending humour, rich characters, and ideas that linger long after the credits roll.

At Charmer Pictures, we’re passionate about bold, original storytelling with unforgettable characters and a strong point of view. Recent projects include the acclaimed RTÉ Storyland drama Shush, commercial campaigns for Oatly and Aer Lingus, and visually striking music videos for Nina Nesbitt and Daughter of a Drum. The company currently has three feature films and a six-part comedy series in development.

We’re committed to creating distinctive, conversation-sparking work through collaboration with talented, passionate teams who care deeply about the craft. We also believe that having fun in the process is essential - because when the team enjoys the work, it shows on screen.

We’re always eager to connect with brands, writers, artists, and organisations who share our vision. If you're looking for a creative, dedicated team to bring your story to life, reach out at info@charmerpictures.ie. We’d love to hear from you.
