Kit Ross Ltd

Kit Ross Limited is led by Catherine Ross, a television producer, director and writer based in Kinsale, County Cork. Catherine brings approximately 25 years’ experience across broadcast television, digital media and educational content, alongside extensive production leadership and commercial experience. Her television credits appear under Catherine Ross and Catherine Davies.

In 2015, Catherine co-founded Makematic, producing educational films for clients including BBC Bitesize, Oxford University Press, Crayola and Adobe. She built a production team of more than 80 people, developed international partnerships and oversaw a substantial slate of content - Makematic turned over £3-4million annually. This work added significant operational and business experience to her editorial background.

Having stepped away from Makematic in 2024, Catherine is now looking to return to broadcast television. Originally from Derry and now based in Cork, she is keen to reconnect with the Irish film and television sector.

Her experience spans hands-on programme-making, editorial development, team leadership and managing production at scale.
