RTÉis inviting proposals across a range of genres for the next round of BAI funding. Deadline: noon, June 1st.
A variety of budgets and production time frames will be discussed on a case-by-case basis for the following genres: Entertainment, Young People’s, Cláracha Gaeilge, Education and Science, Factual, Sport, Comedy, Talent Development & Music, Religion and Factual.
In terms of Regional & Wildlife, RTÉ are looking for suitable ambitious ideas with convincing talent attached, which are also suitable for the Sound & Vision scheme.
Submissions under the Lifestyle genre must be suitable for the BAI Sound & Vision Scheme and play in one of the following slots:
- RTÉ One: Mid-week and Sundays 20.30, half-hour episodes, 6-10 episodes (€40K - €55k per ep)
- RTÉ One: Sundays 21.30, post-watershed, hour-long episodes 4-6 episodes (€80K - €95K per ep)
- RTÉ2: Mid-week, post-watershed, series, hour long series (€55k to €80k per ep)
- RTÉ2: Reality Bites, single, hour-long formats for RTÉ2 (€55,000 per episode)
