Celtic Media Festival | Call for Entries

The Celtic Media Festival has opened its call for entries for the 2018 festival. The 39th Festival will be taking place in Llanelli, Wales from the 2nd to the 4th of May 2018.

Submissions will now be accepted to enter into competition for the Torc Awards for Excellence celebrating the best of broadcast from all the Celtic nations and regions.

Entries from TV, film, radio and digital media will be accepted from the following: Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Brittany and the Iberian Peninsula.

Entries from any other countries are welcome provided that subject matter relates to aspects of life and culture, past, present or future of a Celtic country.

Categories: Animation, Arts, Children’s Progamme, Comedy, Current Affairs, Drama Series, Entertainment, Factual Entertainment, Factual Series, History , Kieran Hegarty Award for Innovation, Radio Comedy, Radio Documentary, Radio Magazine Show, Radio Music Programme (Live), Radio Presenter of the Year, Radio Sports, Radio Station of the Year, Short Drama (up to 30 mins), Single Documentary, Single Drama (over 30 mins) and Sports Documentary.

The Festival competition is open to original productions commissioned, broadcast, or publicly screened (to a minimum of 50 people) between 1st of November 2016 and 31st of October 2017.
