With the economy in recovery mode, what are the new family friendly viewing observational series to reflect a subtle shift in peoples outlook?. Having had several years of recession, we would like to see what aspirational settings are out there to reflect this bounce in the economy. The success of The Shelbourne On RTÉ One and The Liberty of London on Channel 4 last year has demonstrated the pulling power of behind the scenes of an iconic, luxury institution. What other settings and characters are out there? An impressive setting, strong characters and unfettered access is key

Regional & Diversity - New Formats

RTE Regional is looking for new ideas from regionally based producers to go into development as potential RTÉ One midweek prospects. Formats that have worked well in the past have been Buyer Beware! and Taking Care of Business.

While we are open to a range of subject areas, particularly those that female skewing, and the importance of a strong, engaging personality to lead successful format cannot be overstated.

We are open to putting shortlisted ideas into development.
