RTÉ seeking to support Animation Companies in International Co-Productions.
RTÉ have asked us to remind members in the run up to Kidscreen that RTÉjr are actively looking to support Irish animation producers on an international co-production project.
On 14th October 2015 RTÉ announced an increased investment in animation as well as a brand new RTÉjr schedule across television, radio and online and a new RTÉjr Android app for 0-7 year olds.
One aspect of this increased investment is a new scheme to support Irish animation companies develop International co-production partnerships with a dedicated fund of €100,000 per annum available for three years. RTE are actively seeking submissions for broadcaster support in international co-production projects.
Great projects and good partnerships for pre-school and for 7-11s shows will be considered.
