SCREEN PRODUCERS IRELAND SIGNDEAL WITH TAM Ireland & NIELSEN
Screen Producers Ireland have signed a new deal with Television Audience Measurement (TAM) Ireland & Nielsen Media Research.
The arrangement permits SPI to shareaudience data with members. It also permits SPI members toaccess Nielson's television audience data for a significantly reduced fee.
The TV data is produced for TAM by Nielsen Media Research and is made available viaRatingPoint,Nielsen’s new software.
Now, all SPI members can either request specific TV data via SPI oravail of a special arrangement with Nielsen for direct access to RatingPoint, for a significantly reduced rate of €500per annum (ex VAT).
The standard minimum cost to access Nielsen’s television audience data is currently €2,500per annum (ex VAT).
Thisarrangement between SPI,TAM and Nielsen represents an 80% saving to SPI members.
