Screen Producers Ireland would like to congratulate our members nominees and winners of the 2024 IFTA awards.
Congratulations to SPI members Metropolitan Film Productions winning in five categories - Best Drama, Director-Drama, Script-Drama, Lead Actress - Drama, Supporting Actress - Drama for TV series Kin and South Wind Blows winning the Best Film category for their production That They May Face The Rising Sun. It was a great night for our members Element Pictures who took home two awards in the categories of Best International Actress and Cinematography for their feature film Poor Things. Finally, we extend our congratulations to Cowtown Pictures who won two awards for Costume Design and Original Music for their production Lola and Wild Atlantic Pictures for Hair & Make-up award for the The Pope's Exorcist.
It was a great night, attended by Irish and international guests representing the very best of world-class filmmaking. The awards, filmed by SPI members Shinawil, will be aired tonight on RTÉ2 at 9.35pm.
