GAA-related programming to complement live GAA coverage in 2021

RTÉ Sport is a proud broadcast partner of the GAA, covering a broadening portfolio of GAA action throughout the year. Theyare looking for innovative and engaging documentary ideas to complement theirlive portfolio for 2021.

The documentaries, either individual one hours or themed mini- series, should demonstrate a full understanding of the unique nature of the national games and their place in the hearts of the Irish audience.

Proposals should be reflective of the diverse GAA community, across all codes, with strong stories and characters – contemporary or historical – at their core. Projects should offer ambitious, relevant, and previously unheard & unheralded stories from the GAA heartland. These stories will resonate with the audience; stimulating discussion and debate.

Considerations should also be given to additional offerings suitable to radio and online.

This round will close onFriday 12th February 2021 at12 noon, strict deadline. Decisions on successful proposals due Monday 1st March 2021 with a view to potential slots on either RTE Oneor RTE 2 in the Autumn Schedule 2021.
