SPI AGM Keynote & Panel

James Morris* will address SPI members and host a Producers panel at the SPI AGM. The SPI AGM will take place on Thursday June 23rd at 3pm in The Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2.

James Morris will deliver a short keynote address and Chair a panel which will discuss Enterprise Growth Strategies for Production Companies.

The panel will discuss how to move your company from a project based model and how to create a sustainable enterprise model.It will also examine the effect of spreading ever reducing resources thinner and the choice between Quality over Quantity.

2016 is shaping up to be the companies biggest year with an up coming slate of UK and US commissions. ‘Genealogy Roadshow’ will be broadcast coast to coast on PBS and is the only unscripted Irish format on US network TV.

*James Morris has been a driving force in the Irish audiovisual sector. He is a founder of Dublin based Windmill Lane Studios and Windmill Lane Picture.He is a founding member of the Mill London, a high end VFX and creative content studio specialising in moving image, design and digital projects across all platforms.He led the consortium that established Ireland’s first national commercial TV channel, TV3.He served two terms as Chair of the Irish Film Board and is currently building a VFX studio in Dublin.
