The various methods to make productions more sustainable are relatively new to Irish cast and crew, though there they have an appetite to embed sustainability into their productions. Sustainability is fast becoming a requirement of funding across both national and international funders, so ensuring that it is approached in the right manner is crucial.

Getting buy in at the pre production stage increasingly important so that everyone is on the same page throughout the production.

We have assembled a panel of experts, from crew to producers, who will share their experience on the practical steps that can be taken to make sustainability core to the production and not just a box ticking exercise.
